Pen Pal Series: Part 1

First of many. A fellow Michigander and myself have decided to make up monthly projects for ourselves to do on the side for fun.


Project 1: Design a poster for a show, using the band designated by each other. I was assigned The XX, its soft and spooky. Something about this album makes me feel like being in a dark forest at dusk. It gives me that serene feeling of being in a crowded place but yet your internally quiet, a song is playing in your head and its louder than your surroundings. Its dark and mystical.
